Excelerate Your English
Change the perception of what you can do in English.
If you feel that English is holding you back and you are done repeating yourself, I want to help you be better understood and communicate how you intend to be.
These sessions are designed for you to feel as at-home speaking in English as you do in your native language.
Together we will tackle all aspects of English relevant to you. The course is tailored to your needs and includes:
MOUTH: Speech exercises to develop your mouth positioning in English
MUSIC: Ear training to master the rhythm, melody, stress & intonation patterns
SOUNDS: Mastering the major sounds changes and pronunciations
This process is custom designed for you based off an initial assessment, and 1:1 sessions might cover:
-
Rewilding the muscles of the mouth and face to play and master new sounds and shapes in English.
-
Identifying and practicing your "tough" sounds in English like: TH, the letter R, and English vowels. Targeted practice makes these sounds easier in your mouth like doing a rep at the gym. You prep these sounds so that they work with you - not against you
-
Learning the rhythm & intonation of English to enhance what you say and to allow each image to be clearly understood by the listener
-
Practicing exercises, repetition with texts and application in free speech
What Past Clients Have To Say
“Rebecca’s true strength is finding a way of speaking that works for you and focusing on where you are struggling. I think she makes the work fun with a variety of exercises which makes it entertaining. The fact that Rebecca speaks French is a great added bonus because 1) she understands better than anyone the struggle of learning a new language and 2) she has a great expertise on the French accent in English.”
- G.R.
“Rebecca is amazing at explaining and demonstrating the detailed and complex aspects of pronunciation. After the first lesson, I even got compliments from native English-speakers about how my pronunciation had changed. I highly recommend studying with Rebecca if you are serious about improving your English.”
